Being totally honest, I’m a little uncomfortable diving into the food blogging world. There’s too much talent out there. Can I compete? Wait, I don’t really want to compete, I just want to put something out there that’s fun, delicious and useful — for me and for readers. So, I’m being brave and just going for it. If for no other reason, sharing some of my longtime favorites and new discoveries here means the recipe won’t get lost in some forgotten box or recipe book. I’m learning..about food blogging and photography. I can only promise to get better.
I’m a wife, new mom, elementary teacher and baker. And when I’m in the kitchen, I’m happiest when I’m baking with a purpose — to share with others (uh, and to experiment with a new recipe!). So, hopefully as you follow the blog you’ll find a recipe or two of interest and think of someone you’d like to share a little something with. Isn’t it great that sweet treats seem to always make us smile?
